Les Roques

Appellation : Loupiac

The vineyard of Château Les Roques, attached to the Château du Pavillon since 1947, is one of the oldest properties in Loupiac. 100% planted in 1945 with old Semillon vines, its position on steeply sloping clay-limestone slopes facing due south, opposite all the best crus of Barsac, makes Château Les Roques the leader of this small Sauternes appellation.

The owner's pitch.

“From the vineyards of Château Les Roques, I enjoy the unobstructed view of the region where I was born: the Sauternes valley. Like my vines, I draw from this magical soil the strength and energy to always push the quality of my wines higher.”
