Chateau Carignan

Appellation : Cadillac – Côtes de Bordeaux

Château Carignan is located on the right bank of the Garonne River, about 15 minutes from Bordeaux, on the site of a former Roman villa. From the 11th to the 12th century it was home to a medieval lordship. The limestone and clay soils of the property are covered with gravel, giving the wines a nice freshness and rich aroma. Moreover, our plots benefit from a South/South-West exposure allowing our vines to grow in the sun.

Wines.

Intense dark red color and brilliance. The nose is complex with a wide range of aromas. Long and fleshy mouth with a tannic structure, concentrated flavors of black fruit, cassis, blackberries, cocoa and spices and very well balanced in the mouth. Very versatile and can accompany all meats and game. Best to be consumed 5 to 15 years.
