Chateau Lestage Simon
In the extension of the prestigious appellations of the Médoc, in the town of Saint Seurin de Cadourne, this area with a complex and varied terroir is one of those which nature has particularly spoiled. Over the years, Château Lestage Simon has become one of the top references in Haut-Médoc. Its 80% Merlot grape variety has earned it the nickname “little Pomerol du Médoc”. Biodiversity and sustainable viticulture are important values at Château Lestage Simon, which has been certified High Environmental Value level 3 since 2019. Since 2008, the property has been operated and distributed by Crus et Domaines de France and it is accompanied by the famous consultant oenologist Michel Rolland who is involved in the key stages of the development of this very fine Cru Bourgeois Supérieur.

A true Haut-Médoc, full of character on the nose developing fruity aromas, with a deep, solid but elegant palate. The roundness and the pulpy expression of the majority assembled grape, gives it a little air of Pomerol, the final assembly reveals a well structured wine and made to evolve harmoniously over time.
