The domaine’s first wine, Château Montlabert, demands patience… Built for ageing, its lovely dense structured is closes powerful, lingering aromas. A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc aged 14 months in French oak barrels, it expresses the character of its grape varieties with elegance. The bâtonnage sur lie (stirring of the lees) carried out during the winemaking process allows the wine to acquire a very fine oaky character, while imparting fat and volume.
