Chateau Seguin
” The highest point of the commune of Canéjan, with magnificent gravelly hilltops, producing wines of great finesse, reminiscent of those of Haut Brion “. This is how Château Seguin is described in 1874 in an old edition of Féret. However, it was not until the 1980s, thanks to the combined efforts of André Lurton (promoter of the Pessac-Léognan appellation in 1987) and Jean Darriet, a wise buyer, that this estate was given a second wind. Re-membered and replanted, these remarkable plots of land barely escaped the urbanisation of the surrounding area. The partnership formed in 1999 between Moïse Ohana, a private investor, and Denis Darriet, son of Jean Darriet, a defector from the world of fine jewellery, propelled the estate into a new era.

Chateau Seguin
Appellation : Pessac-Leognan

The owner's pitch.
“What guides us is threefold :
- A close-knit technical team, from the vineyard to the cellar.
- A modern winemaking tool, capable of treating the harvest like the greatest wineries.
- A firm and resolute roadmap, in the service of “a wine without concession”, guardian of the innate nobility of its aromas of cedar and pine, of its emblematic smoke.”
