Appellation : Pomerol
Clos Vieux Taillefer
The Clos Vieux Taillefer is originally a vineyard bought in 1875 by the ROBIN family. In August 2008, Nicolas and Alexandra Robin bought it from their grandfather Francis Robin.
This is the beginning of a great adventure. Immediately pampered by their new owners. The vintage was expanded in 2009, then a wine cellar was built in 2010 and a barrel cellar in 2013. Small winemaking vats are installed, which will promote the selection of parcels, and refine the precision of the blends. Each lot, from a defined parcel or fragment of a parcel, will be treated separately.
Respect for the terroir and the grapes are the key words of this real bespoke work. The ideal balance between delicacy and power of the great wines of Pomerol. The ensemble has been managed by oenologist Stéphane Derenoncourt since 2009.
