Grand Vin de Reignac

Appellation : Bordeaux Superieur

Château de Reignac is ideally situated at the confluence of the Dordogne and Garonne Rivers (the “Entre Deux Mers”) and this is what gives the distinctive feature of the estate. Being one of a kind, the property disposes of the best terroirs of the Left (clay- gravel rise) and the right Bank (clay-chalky rise). The château, built in the 16th century, is one of those places where you fall in love instantly. Thanks to the pigeon house, the Eiffel greenhouse, the park, the forest, Reignac is a real hidden treasure. The Château owns today 77 hectares of vines. Maintaining superior environmental awareness, the property’s impact on the terroir is thoroughly monitored by sorting and processing wastes, carefully managing the château’s ecological footprint and actively bringing back balance to the ecosystem. Since 2017 our wines are certified HVE (High Environmental Value).

The owner's pitch.

“The Château de Reignac means above all a balance for us and puts down our roots. We have always been wine lovers and enthusiasts, and in 1990 we acquired Château de Reignac after falling in love with this magical and unique place. Recognised for its high quality wines, it brilliantly stands comparison with the greatest in the various blind tastings. Today, we continue to maintain and transmit our passion through our wines and our welcome, while working to the maximum for the environment.”
