The owner's pitch.

“The Château Tour Baladoz was the first estate bought by our grand-father in 1950 and the start of our adventure in Bordeaux. The mature age of the vines, the high-quality terroir and the winemaking expertise from the vine to the bottle help us to ensure the nobleness of our wines since three generations. We aim to let the wines express their minerality and their freshness, making them fine representatives of the limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion.”

Wines.

The predominance of Merlot accounts for the wines’ dark colour and red fruit aromas featuring oaky and spicy overtones. The wine starts out powerful and full-bodied on the palate, with a beautiful tannic structure, going on to reveal a long, fresh aftertaste. Beautiful with red meat. Can be cellared between 20 and 25 years.
